Sources close to the team tell TheShoutcaster that Team Liquid, the defending LCS champion, is currently in the process of activating a refund clause on Mads „Broxah“ Brock-Pedersen’s contract.

The refund is expected to be executed early this week or at the end of this week. Team Liquid and Fnatic have declined to comment.

The Danish jungler will be put back on contract for European team Fnatic, who is currently tied for first place in the LEC. It is not yet clear what will happen from there on. A sale of the superstar jungler is likely.

Broxah left Fnatic after the 2019 Season, as first reported by TheShoutcaster in October, to join defending LCS champion Team Liquid. After having visa issues for the majority of the first round robin of Spring Split, Broxah and the entirety of Team Liquid have had a more than disappointing start to the split, placing 9th with a scoreline of 3 wins and 6 losses.

It is not yet clear who will replace Broxah in the jungle position, but it is rumoured that Team Liquid is currently negotiating with a superstar import jungler from Korea.
